Key responsibilities
Clinical MA Duties
- Escort patients & prepare for exams/procedures
- Assist with biopsies, lasers, & cosmetic injections
- Administer subcutaneous & intramuscular injections
- Sterile & non-sterile instrument processing
- Educate patients on treatment plans & wound care
- Manage prescription refills & prior authorizations
Medical Scribe Duties
- Real-time EMR documentation during patient visits
- Prepare & complete patient charts
- Track lab & pathology results
- Manage clinical inbox & patient follow-up
- Communicate normal findings to patients as directed
Qualifications & requirements
Education & Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Current & valid CMA Certification (Required)
Experience
- 1+ year dermatology MA experience (Required)
- 3+ years medical terminology & typing (Required)
- 3+ years office experience (Preferred)
- Medication authorization (Plus)
Schedule
📅 Full-Time Position – 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Alternating Saturdays required (approximately 2 per month)
- Standard daytime hours with predictable schedule
