Dr. Holmes is so lovely, patient, honest, and knowledgable. She is incredibly honest and not one of those cash-grab derms. Her staff is all a joy as well, very friendly and responsive. So happy I finally found the perfect dermatologist fit for me in the city.

During my visit to Dr. Holmes Office in July, 2020. Dr. Holmes and her staff were very safe, prompt and efficient. My temperature was taken at the door and I noticed at a glance that each chair was Social Distanced at 6 ft. apart and everyone wore masks. After my co-pay was taken within no time at all, I was seen by Dr. Holmes. I also would like to add that Dr. Yolanda Holmes is very knowledgeable in regards to Dermatological issues, and I truly feel that Dr. Holmes enjoys working with her staff, she loves her profession and she really cares about her patients. Excellent service and professional friendly staff. When you walk into her office you have a sense of professionalism. Dr. Holmes gave me awarm greeting and took time to listen to my concerns prior to treating me. She explained my treatment and make sure I understood everything. Meeting with Josh quite literally changed my skin and my life. Prior to coming here, I had seen another derm in DC that had great reviews and decades of experience. He ruined my skin. When I came to see Josh, he was patient, understanding, and listened intently to my concerns and questions. Josh prescribed me medications that truly worked wonders and I finally feel good about my skin again :’). If you’re wondering whether you should go here, the answer is yes!

I highly recommend Dr. Holmes. She is an amazing dermatologist. I have been with her about 5-6 years now and I am more and more pleased with the level of service and professionalism I receive every time I go. Until I became a regular did I understand how well functioning the office is and how accommodating they are; the waiting area can fill up fast because she is great demand, but they keep patients moving along with reasonable speed on the busiest days. Dr. Holmes has a warm and inviting personality and she is extremely knowledgeable. The extraneous services also offered in-office are great. (Ask for Ivy). Can't say enough, but definitely 5 stars. Location is also convenient and prices are competitive for any out of pocket costs.

My experience with Dr. Holmes has been very positive. I had been to two previous "highly rated" dermatologists in D.C. before I was referred to and visited Dr. Holmes. The prior dematologist's had no idea of what was causing my condition, and simply sold me exorbitant priced vitamins and offered no treatment, whereas Dr. Holmes patiently allowed me to give her the details, then she examined the area and within a minute she stated her diagnosis, provided treatment and my condition cleared up right away. I was impressed with her quiet unassuming demeanor and her intense knowledge and professionalism. I have referred family and friends to her over the years and we have all been pleased with no exceptions. Dr. Holmes's assistant is also excellent. It is a GREAT office experience and I highly recommend Dr. Holmes. Added bonus, she does not over charge nor over bill your insurance.

Dr. Holmes & her entire staff are very accommodating. She does a complete work up & her bedside manners is simply the best. She explains everything in detail & with clarity & never has she tried to use a lot of medical terminology without explaining it, so even a grade schooler is able to comprehend, unlike so many other physicians that talk completely over one's head. Please by all means give her a try & I guarantee you, she will be your permanent Dermatologist! Now as for her Administrative staff, they work extremely hard to get you appointments ASAP!!! Did I say that she's been my physician for over (10) years.

Dr Holmes is extremely personable and professional. I took my daughter for acne related concerns and she immediately able to ascertain her issue and prescribed her products that she felt would immediately assist her. I was pleased with my visit to Dr. Holmes. The front desk staff were friendly and the wait wasn’t long (about 15 mins). Dr. Holmes came in to see me about 5 minutes after I was called to the exam room. Great bedside manner, she quickly but thoroughly diagnosed my issues, and provided an interim solution pending the follow-up procedure.
